weird indeed

My friend sends me an IM earlier today telling me about his dream:

(0:21:40): I had this weird dream last night, that I was going to vegas for 4 days, and somehow ended up in Japan, and I was staying at a hotel with no elevators, and I was trying to get in touch with you via the Gameboy Advance SP, because I was able to get IRC on it, but I wasnt getting the server that we use. It was weird

In case you ever wondered what us tech/game geeks dream about...

Oh, it can be much worse. When I have a super fever I often can't stop seeing code everytime I close my eyes and I'm frantically searching for the bug. I guess if I can find it my fever would go away.

Actually I have a super fever now, 103!, but I'm not seeing code when I close my eyes. Maybe it's because I haven't seriously coded since March.

"I'm all alone... I'm rolling a big donut and a snake wearing a vest comes along..."

Just kidding, that's from PeeWee's Big Adventure. I love that flick.

I remember having puyo-puyo in my head during psych. class... continued on into my dreams later than night. Since then I have NEVER played a puyo-puyo game again. Too scary having little colored blobs with eye-balls falling through the air (and my head) all day...

I have this recurring dream where my ex-girlfriend shows up at my house with a beta copy of VF3 for Saturn, and she's like "Let's try it out!" So then I go to my home entertainment system and I discover that my Saturn is gone. I realize I have a Saturn at work so I take the train to Shinjuku but then I discover that I took the wrong train. After what seems to be an hour of getting lost on the train system, I finally wake up.

Oz, you are the man!! I actually edited this entry before I put it online; the original had a reference to that exact quote from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. ^^ I took it out cause I figured most people wouldn't get the joke...

Nice work! That line was the first thing that popped into my mind when my friend sent me the IM. I guess great minds think alike... :D
