Nice piece on a great way to spend an evening in Tokyo. I only got to a handful of games in five years in Tokyo -- mostly thanks to working in game production -- but they were some of my best memories. Jingu is a great place to hang out on a hot summer evening. Gotta love anywhere you can buy edmame, yakisoba and beer on the street outside and just carry it all right into the stadium.

The dome is a different beast all together, but you should definitely check it out. Might be good now that I imagine it's still raining in Tokyo. Be sure to sit in the back row and motion to the beer girl while she's down in the front so you can watch her run all the way up the stairs with the pony keg on her back. California is beautiful, but I have to admit I miss Japan from time to time... ;-)

Hah, good idea. I'll be sure to keep that in mind for the next game. In fact, if I can, I'll try to get a video of it for the site. :)
